A leading white goods retailer approached us for support and help with integrating their current website with Mercado, a leading e-commerce search, navigation and merchandising solution.
We developed a bespoke content management system with close integration with the Mercado API. Allowing their in house designers to have complete control over the new site while utilising the full power of the e-commerce engine. This was the first use of the Mercado system within Europe and used as a flagship introduction.
The client then requested an upgrade to introduce the Omniture API. We added full integration with the web analytics and online business optimization platform. This delivered to the client one of the most powerful e-commerce web sites available at the time.
Following from this we upgraded the online payment system to included the latest Paypal and Worldpay integration. Although the client sadly moved on, we have managed requests for solutions from their staff who have introduced us to their new employers.
