Drupal multilingual - 13 languages - complex editorial workflow
Energy Union is a campaign to spread information and awareness about environmental damage, climate change and renewable energy. A 3 year project funded by Intelligent Energy Europe, it was instrumental in raising awareness of issues surrounding Renewable Energy generation and energy efficiency.
The campaign required a multiple language web presence to support a European wide tour.
We developed a custom multi-lingual editorial workflow to suit the needs of the wide group of participants in many languages, extending Drupal i18n, and supported partners in setting up an effective translation work-flow within their organisations, and in harmony with the wider partnership.
Working with stakeholders around Europe, we were able to support them in using the Drupal systems that we developed for them, to build localised sub-sites for the dissemination of the results of their project participation.
