Khoros Audio Instrument
We were approched by the client with a request for help in creating the software application to interface with a piece of custom hardware currently under development.
After some consulation, the initial requirements were primarily a simple MIDI and sound triggering application using a representaion of the hardware. Low latency and playback of a simple guide sequence were also requested.
During development the requirement for USB and Bluetooth communcation via a stand alone service was solved. Allowing the hardware and software to be used independently. We also included sound recording abilities and introduced sequence 'over dubbing' capabilities, which greatly increased the value of the software.
Finally we upgraded the software to handle multiple OS versions and created the installer.
